One-on-one coaching is an extremely efficient way to improve your skills, whether they be shooting skills or business skills. Sure, you can scour the internet looking for free information (there is plenty on this site), but think about how many hours that will take. Instead, you can directly and quickly get the exact answers you’re looking for by hiring a coach. I can pass on to you in an hour or two what has taken me years to learn on my own.
I have coached photographers from 19 states as well as from around the world, including the U.K., Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand. If you can travel to the Boston area we can meet face to face for a one-on-one session. I can also travel to meet with you at your location if you’re willing to pay my travel costs. Otherwise, the most convenient way for us to interact will be via Skype. Skype – a free internet service – is a great way to conduct a one-on-one coaching session. Not only can we speak over Skype, but you also can view my computer screen while sitting at your computer. It’s almost as good as meeting face-to-face.
Coaching sessions can be on any topic of your choice, including:
- portfolio/website reviews
- business reviews, including marketing, pricing and sales
- equipment recommendations
- portrait marketing programs that really work
- shooting skills, including metering and focusing
- posing – kids, seniors, couples
- Lightroom & Photoshop
- lighting using natural light
- on-camera flash
- off-camera flash
